Sergeant Edward Aubrey Bower (Service Number: 726506) was a member of the Rhodesian Selous Scouts special forces unit and was awarded the Meritorious Conduct Medal (MCM) for his service.

Bower enlisted in the Rhodesia Army Service Corps in 1960, initially serving as a vehicle mechanic. He later became a member of the Selous Scouts, a special forces unit that operated during the Rhodesian Bush War. Bower was one of only 94 individuals to receive the Meritorious Conduct Medal (MCM) in the Rhodesian security forces, a prestigious award with only four of these medals going to members of the Selous Scouts.

He was awarded the MCM on November 17, 1975.
