Date of Death: Sat 17 Aug 1991 - Died in a Freak Accident, at Pomfret, while photographing a video of a Dakota as it was taking off from the runway. He was standing at the end of the runway and the tail wheel of the Dakota hit him on take-off. He was killed instantly. (He was the son of Lieutenant General J.J. Geldenhuys)
