SADF 32 Battalion made contact with SWAPO 3km south of Cassinga and killed 5 enemy, including a company commander, “Thomas” of the Moscow Battalion. A prisoner revealed that the Moscow Battalion were located 10km north of Cassinga. Two other bases, 17km south and 22km southeast of Casinga, indicated by the prisoner, had already been evacuated
