British served in the South African Army

British soldier and mercenary that fought in the Congo as a Mercenary, was shot in the head and was treated by a witch doctor and obviously survived, then joined the Rhodesian Light Infantry in the Rhodesian Bush war. There after he joined the South African Army and served in 32 BN in the Recce Wing. when on the fight as a mercenary in other conflicts around the world and retired back in Britain.
