The steady tactical advance begun by FAPLA on 2/6/87 has remain unchecked by UNITA and they are now at the source of the Chambinga River. In response to this Operation Moduler is launched with the establishment of Col. Jock Harris’ TAC HQ south of the Lomba River. Present at this TAC HQ is Colonel Mo Oelshig (SADF Liaison Officer with UNITA) and Colonel Piet Mulder from Rundu. The planning for Operation Moduler is fine-tuned from this TAC HQ

stupid but at the time did all my screenshots at 500 pix – oooph regret that now – some random terrain detail… i build the entire terrain using satellite data from Luanda south to Windhoek… we even had herds of bokke eg Kudu and wildlife eg elephants walking about
